which is better pc6400 mushkin or pc6400 corsair?

both have baseline memories.

Both have performance memories

Matched pairs, etc. etc.

Get the best you can afford. So if you can get a better Cosair for the same as basic Mushkin do it, or vise versa.

the stuff is 90% created from the same memory modules

I suggest trying or checking crucial for price too, depending on what level of RAM your looking for.

i am a very big fan of mushkin, i have had great success with their modules from pc3200 to pc8500
check the timing and compare which has the lowest latency at that speed (crucial has nice 4-4-4-12-1t, kingston just released the best stock ddr800 cas3 memory modules available)

BOTH are great! Just keep away from the high performance ones that need 2.1 volts or higher unless you have a high-end or enthusiast motherboard. Most retail motherboards have memory adjustments up to 2.0 volts only.
