I have a friend thats been having a hard time falling asleep. He works at PF Chang's at Planet Hollywood. He usually work til 12-1 AM. and then when he comes home, he isn't sleepy until 6 in the morning (or he would be tired, but he'll just lie in bed unable to fall asleep), but he has class at 9. I'm really worried about him.
Does anyone know why he's having a hard time falling asleep?

He is at work until one am so his job may have him awake and wired until one am. Winding down from hard work takes several hours, is it a stressful job?. If your friend is drinking coffee allot or even energy supplements late in the evening that could be very responsible for his alertness all night long.

(1) Take the vitamin Sam-e, available at Wal-Mart. This helps one fall asleep whenever you close you eyes.
(2) Take the vitamin melatonin, 3mg size. This is natural sleep aid and is in fact the very hormone the brain makes to go to sleep. Take 20 min before bed.
