No- Eardrops, eyedrops and other sterile compounds are given an expiration date of so many days after opening because of the chance of bacteria, fungi, etc of contaminating the formulation. Each time you open a product to use, the chance of this happening is increased. Also, the expiration dating on a product has been extensively researched by the FDA. The expiration date on the package is the date that the formulation was still considered to be stable, safe and effective. You definitely wouldn't want to risk reinfection from something in the eardrop if you are already having an ear infection. It would be safer to give the doctor a visit for a new prescription.

Although it may sound like a great time and money saver, it probably isn't a good idea. Most medications lose their potency after the expiration date. Even if it doesn't hurt it probably won't help. Try calling your doc and explaining the symptoms are the same and he/she may give you a new prescription over the phone.
