e when they are more represented than Asians, Native-Americans, or Middle Easterners? Have you noticed the black population and Hispanic populations is rapidly and steadily consistently increasing in the U.S. and many other places so you guys are not actually a minority anymore? The U.S. census predicts in 50 years from now, the minority will be whites and the majority hispanic. And yet you guys (not all but many) always complain about not being represented enough in the media and that's why you want to continue your magazines and channels, etc. Personally I think it's unfair that you guys get your own magazines and channels and yet you are still represented in the mainstream, why is it you get to have your cake and eat it too? I think if any ethnic groups should receive their own channels, t.v. shows, magazines, etc then it should be the Native-Americans, Asians, and Middle Easterners bc they are not well represented or included in mainstream pop culture and media, but why dont they

they never complain at all about it though unlike you guys. I think if anything they should be the ones complaining, not you.

Diamond---never? Um, "Alfie", "Guess Who" even "failure to Launch", Matt McCuahgney's character had a black fiance that died, he unofficially adopted her son (he was black so that's how the movie hints it).

No ethnic group deserves their own t.v. channel, radio stations, magazines, or history months. Minorities shouldn't be allowed to have their own specific things designed for their interests. And I don't care who complains. Let them complain.

And who is giving these channels to black or Latino people? Tell us what those channels are. If they "get" any channels, it's because it's fattening somebody's pockets and it's not black people's pockets. If it weren't financially beneficial to the people who control the networks, blacks would not be visible. Blacks are visible to the extent that products are marketed to the black community. If Native Americans, Asians and Mid-Easterners are not getting what you believe they deserve, (I don't hear them generally complaining) then they should be complaining to the powers that be. What are black people supposed to do, reject opportunities that they have fought so hard to get? Why are you so worked up about all of this? You've got some nerve implying that black people should be taking a back seat so that Asians and Mid-Easterners can get ahead. That must be the joke of the century. Since you want to play lawyer for the defense, at least do some reading and research about how African-American people have sacrificed and suffered over the years so that people like you can sit back, agitate, criticize and play expert when you've never walked a mile in their shoes.

And as for SEAMUS, how sad that in a time when we see black people such as Condoleeze Rice, Barack Obama, Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby, black astronauts, pilots, physicians, attorneys, scientists, educators, black CEO's of major corporations, and all you can see are the stereotypes of what you think represent black people. Did you just crawl out from under a rock? I actually pity racist people like you. Poor thing!

I don't know why? I'm Hispanic but I actually could care less if I'm represented on TV or not. I actually think Asians are starting to be represented more, which is a very good thing. Who care anyways, I'm always on youtube or yahoo. I hardly watch TV anymore. People just generally like to whine and complain when they don't get their way.

1. If anything, the Latino's are rapidly increasing as you put it. (I live in So.Cal, I see it all day everyday in east l.a. & MANY surrounding cities)
2. We get Essence, Ebony, Jet, Black Hairstyels(you know in the other hair style books that there is NO styles for the blacks, thats a fact, I went through one of those) WHO CARES IF WE HAVE OUR "OWN" MAGAZINE, pick one up, read it & FREAKING ENJOY IT. I read all the other ones like Glamor, Elle, so stop freaking out!
3. If Asians, native Americans, & Middle Easterners want to be seen then they need to freaking COME UP WITH SOMETHING TO GET THEMSELVES NOTICE just like whites, blacks, & Hispanics do. We got hip hop & Latinos Joined in, MORE POWER TO THEM.

And? Just because they are represented more then asians doesn't mean they are represented enough. Here's a task for you. Watch a show then when commercial break is on count how many whites, hispanics, and black you see in the commercials. I think you already know who will show up more. BTW I have heard those groups complain about not being represented. You just don't notice because you are too busy being racist against blacks and hispanics. I've seen your questions troll.

First off, P&S girl, that was the most annoyong answer I ever had to read.
The same reason why native americans dont care about being represented in america pop culture is same reason why they dont have spinners on their cars and gold fronts. They dont value materialism and the media as much as our non-working african americans who watch jerry springer and maury.

Sorry (not really), but Glamour and...what else do you guys have, I don't really pay attention...Elle?...your magazines don't really represent OTHER ethnic groups. I don't want to flip through every single page and see White women, so what's the point of complaining if I can't do anything about it? Well, I'll just create my own...now hush!

White people this, white people that. Whitey, wha, whitey, white, whitey. I love when people answer questions that having nothing to do with whites, but always refer to whites in there answers. Is it called the Champagne complex? Anyways who gives a damn about the media. If you actually listen to the media you live a very sad, and hateful life.

like the first girl said, I skipped over most of what you wrote, but the answer is that they are a large percentage of our population and that large percentage is not represented on TV.
