Here's your explanation for .bnk files. If you don't know what they are, why open them?

.bnk files are used in programs like MidiQuest©, to transfer SysEx (system exclusive) messages to MIDI keyboards & synthesizers. It is a way to transfer custom & 3rd party program "BANKS", to synthesizers & other, MIDI enabled, audio gear.
