Musical..please help..?

Question

me and my friend wrote a musical ,
and i want to have more broadway sounding numbers.. the only problem is what to sing about[it doesnt matter whats going on in the play i can make it fit in]
so just please name a topic anythinng, and basically i can take it from there.

songs in musicals should be integrated into the plot so they natrually arise from it, there are character songs "I'm just a girl who caint say no" There are songs of exposition that tell the story "It's a simple little sytem" there are songs of introduction to things, "Oklahoma" or This was a real nice clambake" Now work from these perspectives
