ok now i've been his best friend forever and now we live further apart like a mile or somethin. we've had our problems when we were little and now again. he says im acting stupid when we act like that when he spends the night and stuff. i was just messing with him on myspace cause i was bored and yet he's getting pissed. we haven't called each other in a few days and he's pissing me off but i don't wanna lose him cause he's my best friend. when i say something serious like something about out friendship then he says some stuff like "i know you may be gay but im not like that" he pisses me off. and this is all on myspace. he's really changed over time though cause he's plays like runescape and diablo 2 a lot, i quit those games a while back. he cusses now, but only on computer and stuff. what do i do?

also we were actually split up for a few years when i moved away from him. then i moved back there but then had to move again like 3 years later. and now we aren't moving back to that neighborhood cause its bad. well, after i moved we pretty much stopped being friends cause he stopped talkin to me in class and he never called or anything. i thought we were separated till i saw him on runescape and told him to call me, he said he forgot my new number. so we were friends again but we didn't go to the same school anymore

It would seem you and your friend have hit a crossroad that is inevitable with any friendship. Are you growing apart or simply hitting some hurdles not seen before? This can be a difficult and challenging time no doubt.

You are obviously more comfortable in speaking about your friendship than he is, hence why he feels the need to retaliate with homosexual-related comments. It is understandable you want to keep this friendship but there are some people who come into our lives/leave our lives for a reason and perhaps this is the beginning of the natural end to your friendship. Alternatively, maybe you are both finding your way now that you are older and there is uncertainty on both parts, in many areas of your respective lives.

Be honest, stay true to your feelings, tell your buddy you would like to talk to him and if this proves unsuccessful, you need to do what is right for YOU.

I think it might just be a phase he's goin through right now..

He is just tyrin to act cool in front of his "Runescape" Buddys...

It's probably best to just leave him alone for a little while and give him time and see what happens...
