on the level that is on top of the big Shine Sprite where the fire goop is on the third level (the goopy inferno) how do i rescue the mayor

You have to jump into the river and swim the the island in the spring. Jump out and water will spill all over getting rid of the the inferno. go to the part where the path is and keeping jumping into the water and out farther and farther as you go just enough where you can jump over the rest of the goop onto the platform
