On my other computer, the keyboard suddenly stopped working. I've plugged in other keyboards, but none work. It wasn't liek this until a recent power short. How do I reboot my keyboard?

The port is probably bad. If it's a usb keyboard just try another port. If it's the ps2 keyboard with the round connector, you might need to buy a usb model.

If you've plugged in other keyboards that you know work, then the problem is probably not with your keyboard. You could get a cheap USB keyboard, though.

If your keyboard came with an installation setup disk, and I'm assuming it did-- you might try doing a reinstall.

From past experience with the same problem this was the advice given to me and it worked on at least 2 occasions that I can think of.

Good luck!

If you had a power short, or surge, you may need to replace your motherboard, if it hasn't stopped working chances are it will soon die.
