What Does the E stand For In Pentium 4 3E GHZ Processor?

Pentium 4-3.0E is one of the last Pentiums on socket 478 before Pentiums were migrated to LGA 775. P4 3.0E is single core, is based on the Prescott core, has 1mb L2 and 89 watts TDP.

Not quite sure, but I think it is their way of classifying the product. You would be surprised how many different types of processors there are...

The E is a 90nm prescott core.
