Check her website for her address. Even though she may be a Philanthropist, I heard her say on a show sometime last year that she dislikes getting letters from people who need stuff. Especially money. But you can try it anyway.

you can try writting a letter, but please take into account that many other people are also in need. So I don't think just writting a letter would cross you over the line. Unless your story touch her heart.
If your not selected to be help don't take it as rejection as no one can help everybody.

It never hurts to try. She probably gets a zillion letters a day asking for money or whatever and is probably very selective about who she gives to. You'll never know until you try though.

I wrote to her and a lady from her show called me back. When I finished telling my nausea's story. She said "We'll call you". Of course they never did.
But you will hear from her as I have a next door neighbor who was on her show.

Put pen to paper, take letter, insert in envelope, seal envelope, write Oprah's address on front of envelope, purchase proper postage and send in mail.
