Let me guess another il-informed liberal who's just not happy. Not enough socialism in the world for you? Perhaps you like it better if the world economy bottomed out with Iran taking over. Grow up and, thanx for the two points. And, I'll still respect you in the morning!!!!

By your logic, no politician respects the will of Americans. They only say they do until they get into office then the respect goes right out the door. I've seen this on every level of the political plane. I had a friend in college who wanted to become a lawyer and he was a very good friend but later when he actually became a lawyer, he snuffed me when I really needed him so why should I respect anyone at all and mostly yourself?

I don't respect him and based on the POPULARITY POLES, if only 26% of the American public APPROVE of what he is doing, how can ANYONE else say that BUSH has done a good job? This means 74% of ALL Americans do NOT approve of what Mr. Bush has done. As for "WINNING" the election twice... he BOUGHT it the first time having his BABY BROTHER FIX THE FLORIDA election--if you REMEMBER CORRECTLY it was ACTUALLY AL GORE who won the popular vote OF THE PEOPLE AND NOT GEORGE BUSH!!!!! I don't know about you, but I think LYING to get us into a war, practically STRANDING people after Hurricane Katrina ---over a year and people STILL are homeless down there---he PARDONS his good buddy SCOOTER who was convicted of 3 FELONIES and the guy gets off with NO JAIL TIME AT ALL, and he can't even give a speech without screwing up his words (which are mostly all lies anyway)... THEN he goes and VETOES the CHILD HEALTH BILL just the other day.... so he shows he cares for no one but his OWN AGENDA.... nope sorry he didn't EARN my respect nor evidently has he EARNED the respect of 74% of the ENTIRE AMERICAN POPULATION!!! Don't like what I said? Too bad--it's FACTS IN EVIDENCE ---... typical of SOME conservatives to not like the FACTS!!!

To the guy above me...Kenneth E...Pretty DUMB statement.

The fact is he does have the respect of a great many Americans. That is evident by his being elected TWICE!

He has presided over one of the largest periods of growth in this country and across the world including Europe and China. Much of which is due to the US economic policies.

At the same time fighting a war on two major and several minor fronts.

Home ownership is at an all time high in the US. The stock market just reached it's all time high AGAIN for the 5th time since he has been in office. Unemployment is at historically low levels. Things are so good nearly 20 million people have sneaked into the country, to the point we are considering a fence on the border.

It's only a very vocal few mal-contents, interested only in American failure due to jealousy or pure hate for our prosperity , aided by a media that has been captured by the left wing ,socialist , loonies that would have you believe he is not respected.

Your just wrong on this one.

.EDIT, Note to Little Barb...What flavor Kool Aid was that?
The elections were settled by the Supreme court after the election screw up. And every recount for a year after showed GW to be the hands down winner. He signed the health care bill in it's original form, only after your socialist buddies on the left filled it with pork was he forced to veto. He said clearly he would sign it when it is cleaned up.
As for the so called popularity polls, you better go back and see just how those pollsters worded the questions. Biased by all who looks at them. Actually take out the bias and his rating is 3 times higher than the Democrats in congress.

this isnt a democracy it is a representative republic, we elect people to make decisions. He is doing what he thinks is right to defend the US against a dangerous and lasting enemy. He could go 8 yrs ignoring the problem like the last guy or for that matter supporting what we thought were the lesser of two evils like the two before that or capitulating like a pansy like the one before those two but he chose to stand head to head and toe to toe. We elect a president to be a leader not a follower. If you cannot see the danger posed by Islamist extremists the rest of us shouldnt have to suffer because of it. This is a threat that has been growing for 30 fricken years.

85% of Americans want to defend America and her allies.
75% of Americans want to defeat the enemy.
85% of Americans want English to be the official language.
91% of Americans believe Americans are endowed by God, not Allah, and that if the Muslims don't like it, go to Saudi Arabia to face 'peaceful' Muslim retribution.

the media projects the left view, people will believe anything they see on TV or read in the liberal media. National defense and security comes first.

I know this a pointless request but I keep trying.
Can you provide a source to show what Bush has done to show he doesn't respect the will of the people.

I respect the office he holds as elected President of America, that is not the same as respecting him as a person! His statement "Bring it on" did it for me. This from a man who had never flown a plane in action when he was of an age to have done so, did it for me!
