All legends have their roots in truth, but they get changed as time goes by.

I definitely still check the backseat of my car when I get in, in case there's a killer back there.
Also, I'm nervous to shine my brights at oncoming traffic, and if someone has their brights on and passes by me, I freak a little.

Oh, and you can definitely see the word "sex" spelled out in the Lion King when Simba lays on that rock.

Some Urban Legends are just true, I guess.

The whole thing with the pop rocks, and the coke when mixed in your mouth, it makes you explode has always freaked me out. Also, and this is probably not an urban legend, but ever since i saw the movie It, i don't walk over storm grates. It freaked me out too much!

It wouldn't be an urban legend if you didn't think it was true.

Yeah, the one about a gang who's initiation was driving around with their bright lights (you know, their cars brights) and shooting you if you flashed your brights at them. Hubby was stationed at the Navy Base in Groton, CT and it was told it at his command. It was about 10 years ago and was told as a warning to all the sailors.

The story about the guy with a hook for a hand who was about to get 2 people at lovers lane really did spook me when I was a pre-teen. I thought that one was true!

Yes, we all do at some point. The some discover that some aren't real or some just loose it and stop believing.

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true

Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.
