1st quartile = (17+18)/2 = 17.5
3rd quartile = (25+26)/2 = 25.5

13+33 = 46% = .46*24 = 11.04 hours /day

1) Add all of the numbers and divide by the number of numbers (there are 22 of them).
To the nearest 10th means 1 decimal point.
10.59=10.6, 20.43=20.4 etc.

There are 8 values in order.
lower quartile (1/4)8=2
average 2nd and 3rd value
(17+18)/2=17.5
upper quartile(3/4)8=6
average 6th and 7th value
(25+26)/2=25.5

3) 46 % was spent on sleeping and watching TV. There are 24 hrs per day.
46 % of 24 is 24(46/100)=11.04 or approximately 11 hours.
