It really upsets me to find out that I am chauvinistic, I wish I wasn’t and there is still a part of me that isn’t. A part of me that is a true feminist who believes in equality and morally know its not right. Still a part of me, is chauvinistic, at first it was just extreme pride but now its chauvinism. Life has enforced these beliefs because I see the strength and heartache it takes to be a women in this world and even in the past Great woman like Queen Elizabeth and if you know African history Candance. I know of great women in my life and of greater ones now. I see disrespectful guys are now and feel that they are unworthy of their place in life. I even compared Great people like Alexander and Elizabeth and who is better. Alexander is known for conquering and being Greedy , Elizabeth is known for being a Great Queen who defended her country and ruled despite she wasn’t even suppose to , and England never had as much power as it did when she was ruling. Who sounds more honorable. Even today you will find more good women then you will find men. You would even trust a women with your children ,sooner than a man. I am torn and don’t know what to do about this.

What should I do about this?

How would you react or what would you say if your wife or girlfriend felt this way?

Don’t make stupid comments it only enforces my beliefs because guys are usually the ones who make them.

Some of what you say is true, on the other hand it is definitely slanted. I agree that much of history has been slanted in favor of the males, but as we try to achieve equality and rights for all humans, we need to learn from the past and not favor any grouping.

In a perfect society, people would apply for a job and the best candidate would get it; the race sex, preference, religion or age would not matter. All employees would get fair evaluations and pay would be based on merit once again blind to anything else.

This is what I believe in and this is what I strive for.

Edit:
The point is, to correct the previous faults we should strive for the right way, not over compensation. And by the way, I have many respected people that are all assorted - but ultimately they are humans.

I feel you have a little tunnel vision.....I wouldn't say Elizabeth is a great Queen..then again it depends on which Queen Elizabeth you are talking about. I also think you have been reading too many history books and taking them in as fact. How would they have been written if we were to get the other side of the story. You are only told what your country wants you to know and believe and that goes for history as well as other political ideas.
I know that I was taught about the wars in other countries when I was young and then I visited those countries and got the story from the other side and it was very very different.
There are many good men in our world just as there are good women. I hope you meet some in your life time and that would surly change your attitude.
Don't always take what you read as fact.

"How would you react or what would you say if your wife or girlfriend felt this way?"

I'd leave her to live with her cats.

So you're how cat ladies are before growing old? I always wondered what background makes them live like that.

Sorry about that, but your entire post basically boils down to "men are assholes". I know plenty of female assholes, always remember, 90% of humanity are assholes, whether men or women, black or white, all of us. Us assholes use the remaining 10% to justify our further assholery.

So when you only notice that men are being assholes and not women, then you are one of the female assholes. I hope this helps, open your eyes to "wonderful" humanity unbiased.
