why would you say that, if only because they are currently losing a game that barely begun.

i would say that this is actually a new beginning for the yankees rather than the beginning of the end because we all know how the yanks were a dominant foe in the late 90's until they began to slide in these early 2000's.

the yanks are now back in the playoffs and ready to put their terrible collapse against the red sox aside. the thing that i see in the yankees now that tells me they are more dominant than ever is the fact that they are not taking the farm system for granted anymore. melky cabrera has firmly taken grasp of the center field position, and pitchers joba chamberlain, ian kennedy, and phil hughes are going to play significant roles in the yankees immediate future.

knowing that they have brought up efficient products from the farm like the good ole days of jeter, bernie williams, etc. and sticking to modern traditions by going out and filling in the rest of the holes signing high priced superstars because of the generous wallet of owner george steinbrenner tells me that they definitely are back and will be a force to be reckoned with again. as i write this sentence cabrera hits a home run to give the indians a 4-1 lead in game 1, but we havent even gone beyond the third inning. with this juggernaught offense the yankees have and knowing that joe borowski is one of the worst closers in the game, i would not be surprised to see the yankees win this ballgame.

the truth is that the indians dont stand much of a chance, and even though i might dislike the rivalry since its grown weary on me, it will be the red sox yankees in the alcs again.

Behind 3-1 early in game one of the divisional series? Yep! You bet. The Yankees are done. They will never win again. Their blood is all over the place. Their post season is over. There is no way they can beat the Indians now. Uh uh. They have been killed. They're done. Lets pay attention to the other serieses because this one is over and now the Yankees are cursed. They will never ever win again. You're right. That's how baseball goes. Fall behind early and you're doomed. Forever.

What are you talking about? Its the first inning of the first game. Wang always struggles in the first inning and then calms down. Especially away from Yankees stadium. To answer your question, no its not.

No. Just because they are behind 3-1, doesn't mean they are out of it. This is only the first game, and it's still early in the game.

Dont get ahead of yourself.

I most certainly hope it is, but by getting ahead of yourself you are sounding like a yankee fan.

Considering that they have a very powerful team, they'd better do it this year. Maybe that's their problem, too many supposed superstars.

Calm down. There's plenty of time left in the game. Keep the faith... that's what I'm doing.

Go Angels!!!
