because it's cheaper to grow the food & eat it directly, than grow the food, feed it to an animal that uses most of it to walk around & poo, then finally eat the animal several months later.

Its not only expensive but wasteful to the environment to depend on meat as your main source of food. This is something that first world countries need to learn.

because its what the land produces best. educators came and showed them.
they also have a belief about meat because a long time ago it made them sick.
