You are going to have to give us more information about the high school. Friends are obviously a very large part of high school, but there are other aspects too. Besides, you will make new friends as well as have your old ones, the academics, athletics and organizations may be better at the school without your friends.

It doesn't sound good but there are some benefits.
1. You won't have friends who will get you into trouble.
2. You will have the opportunity to make new friends.
3. You will gain valuable experience in teh future such as working for a company where you do not know anyone.
4. You will have more time to do your work.
5. You will have two sets of friends, one old and the other new.

2. You meet new and different people, get out of a rut, discover new ways of doing things.
3. You are less distracted in you studies, no who's going out with who to talk about.

well you get to make new friends. you don't have to get rid of the old it just widens your circle. Also it helps your old friends meet new friends. other than not getting to chat with the old ones at lunch everyday (unless you talk on the cell phone a lot) there are honestly in my opinion, no downfalls to attending a different school. like I said new friends. Who couldn't use as many friends as they can get?
