I love the Hannible series and was eager to watch Hannible Rising. (Thanks Netflix) I loved it!!! The acting was excellent by all and the actor who played Hannible is a rare gem.

Hannibal Rising should be the last because they gave us the history of the character. Now we know what made him who he was.
Harris only briefly touched on Hannibal's youth in the book Hannibal and that book put a great ending to the story.

I don't think they should make any Hannibal movies that Thomas Harris hasn't written a book for. They haven't done so yet, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I respectfully disagree. I hated that movie and thought the actor was laughably bad.
