fellows...fellows, let's not scare the poor lady here! already she thinks it's not safe for whites in the phils.....let's not add to her worries
young lady, if you're going to a tropical country, you should, of course, dress appropriately. filipinas wear shorts too so you're gonna be fine
i'd not quite sure what you mean by revealing clothes...see-thru blouses are a No-No....halter tops and/or bare midriffs may be acceptable depending on the occasion and where you are. use your own judgment. people will already look at you (call it admiring looks) so if you're not comfortable with that, then please don't add undue attention by "dressing less"

Where are you going? If you have too little clothes on, once you go indoors (mall, theatre, etc) you will freeze. Church, no way. You can wear short skirts all you want and you can reveal what you want, but for someone who is worried about being kidnapped, it seems you would wish to dress normally.

my answer is NO...... you do not want to get the impression that you want to attract & get th e full attention of the sex offenders out there. Plus other women your age or older would not hesitate to talk about you behind your back and you won't even believe what can say to you. they might think you are looking for a good time & men will try to SCORE on that . here is a thought to leave for you.... One night Stand , Date Rape or Unproected sex form a guy that you forgot his name & gave you a fake number to call back...

I like women in jeans. It makes them look more home town like and it generally does not look like they try too hard but if you're looking to get this men attention, this might not be what you want

I really do enjoy using long skirts once in a while. These are actually convenient than Trousers and not as hot to wear also.

you can wear shorts but make sure you are in the right place. Don't go to places where there are too much public people. And revealing clothes, depends if you like EVERYONE starring at you...

shorts are okay. i but i suggest not wearing short skirts around in public. you'll get a lot of whistles and guys hitting on you. since youre white, you'll get stares without the skirt, but with the skirt they wont only be looking at your face.

if the question is "respectable" then it is not.!only celebs can get away with those short shorts and plunging cleavage revealing outfits.just wear cotton blouse or shirts with a pair of jeans and slip ons to look and feel cool..

That depends on the Culture youre entering INTO. Check out the local style of dress- to see what women tend to wear. -& go by that...
