There's one scene where it's lunchtime in a prison. This guy finds a maggot in his food, and the old guy sitting next to him asks him for it and feeds it to a bird he has in his inside pocket. I think later the old bird guy hangs himself.
I saw it a looooong time ago, and slept through half of it so I can't remember anything else, but it's been bugging me.
Can you tell me what movie it is?

The Shawshank Redemption. Tim Robbins is the young guy. Morgan Freeman is also in the movie.

im not real sure about this one but maybe its Shawshank Redemption? i've saw the movie but never from start to finish so i dont know but i do know theres a guy in it with a pet it seems and theres a guy who hangs himself
