This bisexual girl at my school told me that she liked me. However i'm gay, so i told her that i didn't like her. Then she freaked out and called me homophobic and said that's the reason i refuse to go out with her. My friends keep laughing at me because now the school thinks i'm homophobic and i'm gay. Only my friends know that i'm gay. How do i get people to stop calling me homophobic(she started rumors.....SHE'S PSYCO) without coming out?

You could come out and/or stand your ground that your not homophobic and the next time she says something admit that you think she is a psycho and likes to blow things out of proportion and you cant deal with that, which is probably true. And lets not ignore the fact that she doesnt think someone may not like her, it has to be something extreme like homophobia, because shes perfect right? the only logical decision that can be made is that you hate all gay people because she is so great and amazing.

You shouldnt argue with crazy people though, because they like the attention and most of the time just talking, even if they know they are dead wrong they will keep talking . There really is no victory worth having with a crazy person. Most of the time its just not logicaland even if you come out and line up your boyfriends and show video tape evidence she could always say you are such a desperate homophobic that you are willing to pretend to be gay.
Just look at Ann Coulter either she is stupid or she is crazy and I believe she is crazy, maybe a little stupid but either way there is no good argument you can have with her the stuff that comes out of her mouth is crazy I cant believe anyone would say it republican or not

I hate to say this, but you may need to come out. October 11th isn't that far away, and if your friends already know you're gay, it's time for the rest of the world to learn.

Be out, loud and proud. The longer you wait, the longer you'll have nit-wits like her accusing you of homophobia, and the longer you'll be miserable. You're only giving yourself more ulcers there.

Just ignore the silly twit. You know you are not homophobic,so that is all that matters. It will all die down in a few weeks if you say nothing about it and dont let anyone know it bothers you.

Well, sometimes insecure people shout silly things to get their way. I would ignore her and keep going on with your life. However, if you came out, everything would be resolved anyway. Everyone wins that way!

You could tell them that you support gay rights, same sex marriage, etc. and do not have a problem with homosexuality or LGBTTTIQQ people; and that you will not go out with her just because you don't find her attractive.
