Bush's approval is 50% higher than the democratic congress. Congress's approval rating has steadily declined since they took over in January. Is the country fed up with the democrats?

Before you trash Foxnews, it's an associated press story.

Well, the dems think having a couple more senators than the republicans is a "mandate" so why not?

You're kidding right? From your own website:

"Public approval for President Bush and Congress has sunk to the lowest levels ever recorded in The Associated Press-Ipsos poll.

Only 31 percent said they approve of the job Bush is doing, according to the survey released on Thursday. His lowest previous approval in the survey was 32 percent — a virtual tie with the new reading — recorded several times, most recently in June."

Congress is at 22% per your article. Do you need basic math instruction? In what universe is 31% 50 points above 22%? And did you forget that Republicans make up almost half of Congress too?

Amazing. But keep dreaming and twisting those facts around if it makes you feel better. A mandate for what? How to alienate most of the country?

If you drag an a.p. story through Fox news, it's a Fox news story. Bush's approval rating is higher than that of the democratic congress? Congress is democratic now? All the republicans left? When did this happen? 32% approval for Bush is not a mandate no matter what approval of Congress may be.

Congress isn't doing what they suggested that they could do whilst the Democrats took over interior the 2006 elections. that's the reason the yank all of us is unhappy with the Democratic Congress.

I'm tired of the whole of Pennsylvania Ave. We need people who we voted in power who care about what WE want. Not their little earmarks and executive privileges and wars.

I don't care what Bush's or Congress's approval ratings are. I just hope they can eventually make a decision that meets in the middle, so something can be done, while these clowns are in office.

Your article is wrong:
Most recent Democrat congress approval is 38%
Bush's most recent is 31%

By the way, YOUR article said that this is Bush's lowest rating ever - and your figure for Congress is for the WHOLE congress, at 22%, not just the Dems.

I think the country is tired of Washington politicians in general. The President's approval rating, while higher than Congress's, is nothing to be proud of.

The article says Bush's rating is the lowest ever at 32%. Do the math this means 68% of the people disaprove of him, does that equal a "mandate"?

The 31% who still support the murderous, International war criminal must either be party-liners in toilet stalls, lobotomized chimps, in a coma, or dead.

The Congress #'s are probably WAY too high also.
Face it: We have a corrupt and just-plain shitty government!
