Yo 80's Babe,
give some detail as to what exactly went wrong with them from your perspective and I will attempt to give some insight. Why? (As I hear every decent woman in this country ponder this) Because I am a FOOD GUY - no not a chef, but just a guy that loves food.

It could be anything from over beating the mix, to not enough oil, and yes to even not enough sugar to make the yeast rise. Give the details and I will give you my best shot.

If you overbaked them longer and at a higher temperature - well that fix is relatively easy kiddo.

Have a good evening!

Ciao Bella,
Gerry

Well it was nice of you to try , perhaps they can be used as a nice rock garden or smash them with a sledgehammer and use them for cat litter then they won't go to waste .

Look on the bright side, you could always use them for paper weights.
