It's real easy to criticize a person for making a World Series pick before the season started after the season is underway. Hindsight is always 20/20. On paper the Red Sox looked pretty good before the season started fwiw...most people who know anything about MLB will probably agree with that assessment. Some things are hard to foresee (like players who have historically hit well not being able to hit for games on end or pitchers who are normally solid getting shelled in consecutive outings etc.,), even if you're a paid analyst.

They also overhype a certain player who plays for a certain team who is down in a series 2-0 to the Rockies right now and whose first name is Ryan. Oh did I mention he strikes out a lot?

i'm not too fond of espn and their "analysts"
they rave about the same things over and over and over!! plus. they are biased.. or seem to be

sometimes it's like "do you even know what you are talking about?"
it's frustrating so i try not to watch.
i think they do get paid.
that's a really easy job. just pick a team you really like and shove it into other peoples' faces that the team is better.

well, he shouldn't have the job if he can't perform the analysis to see that CC, Beckett, Lackey, and Carmona all deserve it before Wang.

really... what an idiot.
