I don't think AIDS is man made.
Many diseases have crossed from animal to human -- swine flu, cowpox, avian flu.
If AIDS was engineered to kill, it was the most useless and ineffective plot ever. There are much more virulent diseases available to kill humans if that was someone's goal -- exchange of bodily fluids is much less effective than airborne disease. Even AIDS doesn't kill 100% of its victims, only the relatively small percentage who get the full-blown disease.

No of course it isn't a man-made disease. Just as tuberculosis, blue tongue cow disease, foot and mouth, the flu, colds, cancer - AIDS is a disease that was primarily found in the early "gay" community and spread into the heterosexual and even non-sexual community through blood transfusions, needle sharing of drug addicts, etc.
How can anyone possibly think that anyone would be so clever and so cruel as to create such an intricate disease to wipe people out? After all it affects everyone - babies, the elderly - anyone can get AIDS not only dark people.

I dont believe that it was purposely made to kill us, rather that it was just a lucky mutation on the part of the virus to allow it to survive and thrive in humans. Since the physiologies of humans and other primates are so similar, it isnt a long shot to imagine one changing just enough to infect humans as well. We can see it even now, as we treat the illness, different forms of it pop up constantly that are progressively more and more resistant to drugs, which is our own doing. And it isnt so much that they are waiting in other animals to come and infect us at first chance, but just there, and if they happen to be able to survive in our bodies, they will.

I don't think so. There are SO many likely senarios for a Disease like AIDS to naturally appear & spread around the World EVEN NOW...-it doesn't PAY to bother to think that Man was behind it- in any way. In other words, it was a Likely event, that is JUST as likely to happen AGAIN- at any time. It's how Nature works.

Personally, I don't know anyone who has AIDS. Of course, I don't hang around with promiscious people, or with IV drug users.
I get tired of the AIDS as "holocaust" or the bane of mankind nonsense. If women would keep their legs closed, if men would stop poking each other or anything else that moves, AIDS would disappear. Even if they'd just wear condoms it would be greatly reduced.
I feel sorry for children who are born with AIDS, and with honest women and men who catch it from untrue spouses. But to me, AIDS is nothing more than syphillis or gonnorhea. It's glorification into some cause celbre is disgusting.
