Everyone has the right to do what they want to so long as it does not harm anyone else or break any laws.
In saying that I feel that people who complain about smoke inhalation from others should say something but not be rude and nasty about it.
Non smokers complain and are disgusted in smokers and say they are pollutants but they are a small part of our hugely polluted world. Get mad at people who drive cars they are polluting the air as well, get mad at people who have open fires, get mad at people who mow the grass, get mad at people who have photocopiers and the list goes on and on.
These people don't deliberately do these things to poison you it's just part of our life.
You have every right to smoke if you wish, you just have to make sure you are doing it in an area where no one will be affected.
No need to punish smokers as they are already punishing themselves by smoking.
I just can't understand why such a drug which is considered so dangerous is freely sold.
I guess it would cause a huge problem if they were taken off the market, imagine all the angry people trying to give them up.
I get pretty angry too with people who don't or have never smoked criticizing smokers, they obviously have never had the addiction and don't understand what they go through.
Before you judge a person try to walk a mile in their shoes first.

Maybe because your choice to smoke affects everyone around you. Research shows that second-hand smoke has negative effects on the body if you are exposed to it over a long period of time. I think the reason why these laws are being passed is to protect the health of the people who choose not to smoke.

You have no "right" to smoke - it is a privilege.

And just how are you being "punished" by asking you not to pollute others? Hmmm?

Really dude? Smoking is SUPER disgusting, its one of those things I will not keep peace about, I will have to say something if you are polluting me with your smoke, especially when you know someone is standing next to you who do not smoke & blow in their faces, SUPER rude. I hope they band smoking...thats one thing I will not tolerate. Yuck!!!

Why is it violating YOUR rights to allow non-smokers to breathe clean air???

Why do smokers think it is ok to make other people breathe their pollution???
