At least one writer who covers the Eagles has suggested that this will be McNabb's last season; he suggested not only because of the drafting of Kevin Kolb, but because of McNabb's recent injuries and the fact that if they keep him, the cap number will be very high. Frankly, i think they should try to rework McNabb's contract and hire a coach who isnt addicted to passing over 60 percent of the time. Bill Cowher comes to mind.

mcnabb and reid arent going ANYWHERE!!! why should they??? andy reid, year after year, pulls the eagles together and makes them into a winning club! remember last year? do you think that was a concedence? nope...it was andy doing what he does best...makes decisions. he kept garcia in and he handed the play calling over to morningwheg. ive been a fan FOREVER...i remember the richie kotite and ray rhodes era...Andy and McNabb brought us out of the slums and made us the 2nd best team of the decade. McNabb was and still is a top 5 QB...hes comming off of major knee surgery! give him a shot!!! he exploded in week 3 and in week 4 he got no help!!! remember, we have had our backs against the wall EVERY season since 2002...we lost McNabb in 02 and everyone said we were done. and what did we do?? we won 4 of 5 and won the NFC East. in 03, we started 2-3 and almost went 2-4 until westbrook had that punt return against the giants...then we took the NFC East again! then in 04, we lost that WR...i cant remember his name (fckin a**hole) and everyone had us losing in the playoffs...but, we made it to the superbowl. 05...well, that was almost impossible to come back from. then, last year...we were "done" going into an impossible 3 game NFC East road streach and, what do you know? WE SWEPT IT!!! and won the NFC East AGAIN!!! have some faith man!!! even if we cant get it done this season, "there is ALWAYS next year..."

i havent heard anything saying its all 100% true. i have heard rumors of mcnabb being out. it makes sense with andy reid moving up. he's a good coach, which that job is a heck of a work load for a lot of people. i just hope mcnabb doesnt end up in the nfc north.

i'm with you on that. as much as McNabb tries to downplay that benching, it had a profound result on his taking part in understanding. Deep down interior, he needs to tutor to teach and the followers that he can nevertheless play. i think of that grow to be the 1st time that he ever had to play with something on the line - his attractiveness. The benching grow to be a competent pass and grow to be certainly the turning element interior the Eagles season. in the event that they win the superbowl, which could in basic terms be certain it greater. inspite of all of that, McNabb and Reid has been the excellent coach/QB pair interior the historic previous of the EAGLES.

I'm a Bears fan and I was very disappointed when the Lions fired him. I wanted him to coach there forever! He couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. Eagles fans, get ready to see your team go down and go down hard. I can't believe any team would hire him to be a head coach.

If Morninwheg becomes the head coach, the Eagles (if possibble) will suck even more. Morninwheg is another coach that can't win.
