I did it, and my wife was glad I did. I was glad she waited too. It probably is rare in the west though, unfortunately.

Never really thought about how 'rare' guys like us are. Just figured it was basic stuff to wait till marriage.

Unfortunately guys who want to remain pure until marriage are very rare. But, don't let that cause you any grief. I think you are very smart to wait. Many of us did not and wish we had.
So wait for the right lady to come and long and then enjoy sharing in marriage.

Purity? I take it you're religious? Pretty rare. Not very desirable to anyone except religious girls who are generally very ignorant and annoying, but then again you two may have a lot to babel about. You can even go to church together! Good luck with that.

Yes you are pretty rare.
What happens when you get married and you have no experience?
What happens to the relationship when the sexual part is not up to scratch?
You don't have to be a gigolo but a little experience does help.
I guess it all depends on your attitude towards sex and how you feel about the importance of a couple who are compatible in this area.

Very, very rare. I think that is an amazing thing that you choose to do this. I wish that my husband and I were eachother's firsts.
