paper but I feel like he does not trust me and is going through my personal things and I have never done anything to warrant this. I love him and would never cheat on him. I haven't mentioned it yet although it really upsets me . What is the best way to handle this?

This is just my opinion, but hey...if you have nothing to hide, then why care? I understand you feel it's a violation of your privacy, but at the same time, if you have nothing to hide, what's he hurting? He'll find out you're telling the truth, and finally maybe he'll stop being suspicious because he will keep coming up empty-handed. I'd just let him go. The more you bring it up or fight about it, the more he'll think you really DO have something to hide, and keep searching that and possibly more. Good luck, Hon.

I think I would say something to him about it, but not in a way to pick a fight. You don't know why he was in there, maybe to snoop, or maybe to look at and feel your underwear. Ya, I know it sounds crazy, but some guys are like that. During some conversation just mention you noticed stuff in your drawer had been shuffled around and if he lost something or needed something you would appreciate it if he asked you first and you would help him out. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it until you have a better understanding of what is going on, but I would mention it so that he knows you are aware of what he is doing.

Some of these answers are funny, just because of the double standard you see on the board.

I can see both sides, leave it alone and confront him. I never snoop or suspect my wife, I couldn't love her if I didn't trust her. But she does snoop, basically looking for porn, and I've learned to deal with it because she has a lot of insecurity from a previous relationship.

Put some set mouse traps in your drawers.....that should keep him out of your things......he is snooping...and if you haven't given him a reason to snoop...he shouldn't be in your things.

I understand that you may have nothing to hide.....so let him snoop...but at the same time...he should be honest about what is looking for...and not say that he is looking for a "paper"...How lame is that? Not to mention it is a lie.

So tell me. What did you say to him? Did you lay down the law and tell him to keep out of there or did you say nothing and come here instead?

Because tell you what. If you did the latter you'll never be in a successful relationship with anybody. Ever.

If it only happened once, then it may be nothing. But communicate with him. You have to tell him how you feel. Because if it's something or not.....your feelings will affect the relationship....

I caught a guy going through my drawers and dumped him that day. IT was the day of my sisters wedding and he was supposed to be my date but I kicked him out. Never looked back and never talked to him again.
