Okay, I have to find pros and cons of fast food in school. I've found many cons but no pros. My mom said that fast food isnt only wendys and mc donalds but granola bars and yogurt are too. Can anyone give me a website on this or some more food suggestions?

Pros:
*convenient
*less for the school to clean up (most items are packaged in foil or cardboard so the school doesn't have to do dishes)
* school could use this as a revenue opportunity- for example, they could let Wendy's have the exclusive rights to sell food in the school and in return Wendy's would pay the school for that privilege.
* It's food that teens like to eat, so there may be less teens skipping lunch. Hungry kids don't pay as much attention

Fast food is what you buy from a restaurant that has a walk-up counter and the food is typically sitting in a warming bin waiting for you to buy it. McDonalds does sell yogurt things with granola in it, but I don't think that qualifies granola bars and yogurt as fast food.
The only pro I can think of is that fast food is convenient and usually cheap. There is an article on CNN that has some ideas for you.

Fast food is just that!! In the store anything that says Instant, Microwave meals. Kraft mac and cheese, Hambuger Helper. all of these foods are there to help Moms in this Fast Fast world. No time to cook....buy take out...Chinese, Pizza, or fake prepared. Boston Market or Kentucky Fried....Almost any food in the grozen food ailse at you Super Market. In the Dairy case, bisquits,cookies.

quick and easy to prepare (no need to hire a chef or be a chef to prepare it)
kids will eat it
