We threw my son a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's in Mira mesa in San Diego & I was disappointed. Many of the games were broken or out of tickets and all of the employees seemed irritated. We "rented" Chuck E Cheese to sing Happy Birthday which our son loved not noticing that he was a half hour late or smelled a little like cigerrette smoke. The best thing about kids is that they tend to notice the good in a situation. My husband and I were frustrated and made a desicion never to do that again. I myself would choose Dave & Buster's over Chuck E Cheese's from now on.

not in my opinion. I have my sons at a swim park, and last years at Boomers. We also had it at a park one year and rented a firetruck to give the other kids a ride and turn on the siren for them. it was not costly and a lot better than spending money on bad Pizza with young rude employees.

keep a careful eye on them. My cousin took her son there and some guy tried to walk out with him. I wouldn't trust that place.
