Which is your favorite magazine?

Essence. They are constantly trying to give you up to the minute advice and information on fashion, celebrity, health, wealth and everything else in between.
I don't like Ebony b/c something about them seems so behind the times and plus they don't even give you a horoscope. Not to mention they still have that old timey cartoon in the back.
I don't like Jet either. I'm tired of the beauty of the week. Have you noticed all the beauties of the week have the same hobbies??? "She likes to workout, model and swim. She's also a Cancer." If that doesn't sound like 1975 I don't know what does.

Essence
i really loved that mag until Time Warner bought it out
now it is more a beauty magazine
but it still gives good information and pretty good interviews
but it is also now much too "man oriented"....why do women's magazines have to have endless discussions on "getting men"?
Ebony is cool but doesn't really talk about issues that much
Jet is kind of fun
I like going to the library archives and looking at old Jets and Ebonys

Ebony ---- for men and women
Jet ---- More for men than women (beauty of the week insert )
Essence ----for women
I like Ebony ...more well rounded.
