A horse gallops with his lung,
Preserveres with his heart,
and wins with his character
A Dog looks up to a man,
A cat looks down on a man,
But a patient horse looks a man in the eye and sees him as an equal.
No heaven can heaven be, if my horse isn't there to welcome me.
The horse, with beauty unsurpassed, strength immeasurable and grace unlike any other, still remains humble enough to carry a man upon his back.
In riding a horse, we borrow freedom.
Definatley one of ther best is:
One can get in a car and see what man has made. One must get on a horse to see what God has made.
"Wherever man has left his footprints in the long ascent from barbarism to civilization, we find the hoofprint of a horse beside it."
"A good rider can hear his horse speak to him. A great rider can hear his horse whisper."
"Horses lend us the wings we lack."
I could go ON and ON for PAGES !!!!
Happy Trails!!!! : 0)

i have a few:
"No heaven can heaven be, if my horse isn't there to welcome me."
Author Unknown
" I have often been asked why do I like horses so much. Look into one's eyes. There you will see generations of horses who have served the humans for thousands of years faithfully for nothing in return. Beaten horses, starved hoses, horses who no longer possess a spirit. They deserve to be loved and respected as much as humanly possible. Let them run free again. Let them no longer be a faithful beasts, but embrace them as you would a dear friend, for that is what they are. "

Round-hoof’d, short-jointed, fetlocks shag and long,
Broad breast, full eye, small head, and nostril wide,
High crest, short ears, straight legs and passing strong,
Thin mane, thick tail, broad buttock, tender hide:
Look, what a horse should have he did not lack,
Save a proud rider on so proud a back.
~William Shakespeare

"There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man".....it's been attributed to many different people, including Winston Churchill, but who knows who actually quoted it first. Also, "a good horse is never a bad color".

You are a great champion. When you ran the ground shook. The sky opened and mere mortals parted. Parted the way to victory. Where you will meet me in the winner's circle. Where I will lay a blanket of flowers on your back.

I forget who said it, but the quote more or less reads like this: I don't want to go to any heaven where there are no horses.
