Prime America does (or did) have a sub-prime market and they also promote unnecessary insurance and consolidation products. The company is predatory in nature and probably pays you pretty well (I turned the job down, myself). The problem is, the money they pay you comes form taking advantage of others who are already in a bad position. Personally, I like sleeping at night...

The division of Prime America that sells Mutual Funds has a terrible reputation. Their product are sold by people poorly trained and tend to be less than mediocre investments that are high priced. If you have a conscious.....stay clear.

No, they made me an offer years ago, but they told me that you have to pay money up front, and that you would not make any of it back unless you convinced persons to take their products. It was all commission and no guarantee of even making back the initial investment. Also, they would not tell me what abilities or traits distinguish those who can do this work from those who cannot; they simply kept saying that some persons fail because they do not work hard, which is true, but they would not tell me how to tell if I was someone who, even if I did work hard, would fail or someone who could do well. I passed. Your call though.
