People at work make me laugh, they say, oh I dont want to win that much, wouldnt know what to do with it.

Ok, so suddenly being filty rich may take some pleasures out of life, like struggling to buy your kid the latest gadget and seeing their face on Christmas Morning when you give it to them.

If I had bundles, I'd have a checklist of immediate things I would do
1. take as many old people off the NHS list waiting for hip replacements

2. Pay for the woman who cannot get the breast cancer treatment in their area.

3. mobile MRI scan units.

4. Water units in Africa

5. Measles jabs for the kids who die of it in third world countries

7 anyone who needed medical treatment not available in this country but in America etc etc

8. Kids with autism who cannot get the best treatment in this country

9. help to stop cruelty to animals.

You could spend billions on good causes
Would I want to win 88 million quid, you bet your bloody life I would what about you?

kamran - your right if I had 88 Mill it would soon disappear..lol I could spend 88 mill 10 x over if I had too, and would still need more, so much could be done with that kind of money.

Shambo I agee, I would also give to anyone who needed treatment, regardless. I used breast cancer as example of the lottery postcode of who gets the expensive treatment as there is a treatment available to women but it quite often depends on where they live if they can receive it or not.

Good question! It is true that loads of money does not always bring happiness, but you can sure do some good with it. The trouble would be in sorting out the issues you care about, the red tape and the publicity would drive you nuts. I agree of course with all your good thoughts. I think, after sorting out my family and others I care about, I would go for individual cases that were dear to my heart, and finance them anonymously. This would be how I would do it. Top marks for your wonderful thoughts.

If you tried to do all of those things with £88 million you would soon be penniless again, trust me. And no amount of money will ever stop cruelty to animals. Notice how the only non-Eskimos who wear fur are all minted?

The best thing to do with Africa is get rid of corrupt governments who spend money on the people rather than the military.

I think 88 million would be too much or not enough... Not to be greedy but to help everyone??? There would never be enough then you would have the hell of deciding which charity gets how much.Look a Schindler.(Schindlers list)..Even at the end he looks at his wedding ring and said "That was worth another life" Where would you stop?I would like to win as much as I needed and perhaps just a little more.

And me although I'd be in shock for a few weeks, I'd do lots for other people that makes me happy, can you imagine if you paid for life saving treatment for a child well the smile you'd get would be worth millions aah.

Sorry, mate, but we're winning it here in Nottingham. We're taking cases of £1m to each of our family members if we win it - and then are never grafting again!!

You have a heart. Yes you can do good with a few pennies but so much more with 88mill. Enjoy it but use it wise.

I thought the first thing you spent any money on would be making sure the McCanns get sent down for life.
