I've got to send a parcel to US. So I may well consider other options, and if I find the alternative is excellent, I might use them again, when there is no strike on.

It does not trouble the government, they use yet another courier and the Royal Mail is used via the generic public. transport circumstances have have been given worse. I used to get firstclass mail right here day, now im gazing 6-7 days till now the strike began. They continually look on strike for some reason and extremely of punishing the generic public could flow and push the government or whoever right into a corner and make some compromises, you are able to't have each and everything your guy or woman way.

I'm finding the postal strike a little annoying, but support the workers as they provide an essential service and should be paid and treated accordingly.

We've all got e-mail, but who wants to do without the snail mail? Not me!!!

It is quite silly especially that for those who can afford it will just choose to use a private courier. I wonder if the posties and their wives and families not get annoyed when their post doesn't turn up because of the strikes, or even when their post gets lost?

You can only blame the postal service for that.

I go along with what you say but I find it comical that society give people the right to strike and yet, whenever people go on strike the rest of us call them communists !

Sensible or not, we all have a right to collective bargaining and to the collective withdrawal of labour where pay and conditions are not satisfactory. If we didn't, we would all be exploited even more than we already are by our employers.
