Alright, so SAW IV is coming out soon. I've been waiting pretty much since SAW III for it. Thing is, i've only seen the past 3 on DVD, but i'd like to see SAW IV in the theatre, just for the experience. Problem is, i'm only 15. Is it worth trying to get in? Or can i be punished for it?

They can kick you out and they have the right to keep your ticket money. They won't call the cops unless you try to sneak in for free to the theater.

The MPAA has really come down on theaters for selling tickets for "R" movies to underage children so most chain theaters are really keeping an eye out for ID and also kids who pay to see one movie and try to sneak in to the "R" rated one.
Not only will they come INTO the auditorium and ask to see your ticket, they make you do the "walk of shame" out in front of everyone. Then all of us grown ups laugh.

You decide if it's worth it.

It's worth trying. All they can do is not let you go in. If they hand you a ticket, you're pretty much good to go. The person taking the tickets might look at you funny, but I wouldn't worry about it. I would probably go a couple of days after it comes out, so there's still a crowd (less likely they would focus their attention on you) but it's not so busy that the Manager is going to be watching staff closely (so some employees might skip looking for IDs)....

good luck on your movie adventures.

Go with a parent. The only thing they can do is refuse to sell you the ticket in the first place. Every theatre has their own policy and their own levels of how well those policies are enforced. If you have a parent who's into that kind of movie, why not go with them? Or maybe an Uncle?
