I got to see him live, when he was young. What was your favorite song?
Mine was "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, going shoot ya right down, take you in my arms, I am in love with you, love that is true, boom boom boom boom." I actually liked them all except San Francisco Nights.

That wasn't one of my favorite groups. They were ok, so I didn't have any fave songs of theirs. I did pick up some more 45's today.... about 200 of them for $1.00. I am sure there are some old ones there. I did buy a few earlier in the year. They will be good to restore a juke box.

My favorites were "House of the Rising Sun" and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood". Great group...would get a lot more credit today if they had stayed together a little longer.

they call the Rising Sun,
and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy,
and God I know I'm one!
Oh yeah. I got to hear that every day, over and over again as my brother taught himself how to play his new electric guitar.
I never did learn to hate it though...and I still have it on my computer on one of my lists of songs on Windows Media.
