My friend and I kinda have this obsession with the moon. It's a long story, but whenever we look at the moon we each think of the other. So I want to make her a mix tape containing songs about the moon, or even songs that just mention the moon.
I have a few good ones ("You Are The Moon" by The Hush Sound, obviously, and "Honey And The Moon" by Joseph Arthur, and I guess maybe "Satellite" by Guster) but I'm looking for more. Mainly more mellow, slower songs, like those three. No hardcore please.
So any suggestions? Much appreciated :]

"The Killing Moon" by Echo And The Bunnymen
"Bad Moon Risisng" by Creedence Clearwater Revival
"Pink Moon" by Nick Drake
"Moonlight Drive" by The Doors
"Eclipse" by Pink Floyd
Also, Pink Floyd had an album called "Dark Side of the Moon," and Modest Mouse has an album called "The Moon and Antarctica"
And the original drummer for The Who? was named Keith Moon. You could put some Who songs on the tape.

These are all mellow:
"How High The Moon" by Diane Schuur
"The Moon Is Mine" by Fairground Attraction
"Moondance" by Van Morrison
"Moonlight Mile" by the Rolling Stones
"Moon At My Window" by Joni Mitchell
"Moonage Daydream" by David Bowie
"Song About The Moon" by Paul Simon
"Moonlight Sonata" by Hall & Oates
"Moonshadow" by Cat Stevens
"Walking On The Moon" by The Police
"Harvest Moon" by Neil Young (get the Unplugged version)
"Man On The Moon" by The Jesus & Mary Chain ("Come visit soon, sure gets lonely living here on the moon...")
Might be too cheesy, but:
"Moon River" by many, many, many people
"Blue Moon" by, ummmm, ditto ; )
More fun:
"Destination Moon" by They Might Be Giants (goofy)
"There's A Moon In The Sky" by B-52s (ditto)
"Moon Over Bourbon Street" by Sting (about a werewolf)
"Dancing In The Moonlight" by King Harvest (70s dance track)
