last year he was great when everything was going fine. of cousre he's still a hell of an athlete, but starting after the loss to NE last year it seems like he's kind of whiney with his TO like outbursts on the sideline and all. not at all the leader he should be. your thoughts....

LT is not overrated at all..he showed that in the first half of the KC game..it is the play calling that is hurting him...if you read what Norv said about the 2nd half last week, then were going to use LT on swing passes...but Rivers could not get the ball to him..the front line was not holding the Chiefs out..LT is a great running back..no one should think otherwise...on another note watch out for Micheal Turner, he is due to break loose too..do not know how Norv is going to get them both on the field at the same time..maybe the "old" full house backfield is coming back..

overrated? less productive than barry sanders in detroit? are you mad? do you even know the state of the chargers when he first came into the league?

that team had no passing, a horrible line, a mediocre defense. his rookie year, he blew by any and all expectations as he ran for 1000+ rushing as a rookie. since then, he was also among the very ELITE to post 1000yds rushing and 100 receptions AS A RB. oh, and he failed to make it to the probowl. sure, priest holmes amongst others were also simply playing out of their minds that year, but notwithstanding, LT is a premier back, unlike any other.

it's only unfortunate since this team was nearly undefeated last year. he's allowed to exasperate his frustrations on an underperforming team and more importantly, an incompetent organization that fires an otherwise successful coach still preparing his team to fiery competition week after week. what else is your leader supposed to do when he's frustrated and it seems nothing is being changed to fix it?

in the case of NE, he was complaining how they (NE) disparaged the team by going to center field and mocking san diego. no class by the patriots. this is akin to TO in dallas when he ran twice to the stars centerfield. LT has pride. he took the loss in reasonable stride, but not that mockery of a celebration.

don't blame LT for his outbursts. blame AJ Smith.

It's just frustration on his part. The organization has had success over the last couple of years and after last season, the team's expectation is pretty high and they are no where close to meeting that expectation. With very high hopes for the season and an ugly start, it would nake any competitor angry.

Anyone notice that Norv Turner can destroy a team and its players? This is what the problem is! LT is good, but Norv's system is keeping LT from playing the way he plays.

Yes, overrated, probably one of the best backs ever, but certainly no Barry Sanders or he could carry the Chargers the way Barry did the Lions. Sooo the best ever? NO WAY!! He's more of a complimentary player, when has he ever emerged as such a great back unless the QB play has been good?

I don't think there is a question(and I'm a Pats fan) that LT is the best RB in the league...but a little bit of a sore loser, I must say...but he handled it better this year than last year...

L.T. has had several great seasons. He is having a bad time right now. He is NOT overrated. Reggie Bush is overrated. Don't confuse the two.

Listen here, the days of LT being the best in the league is over. #29 for the Colts is fixin to emerge as the premier running back. He is running a faster 40 than he did his senior year at LSU and he is benching close to 400. He told me that he was going to have over 1800 total yards this year with 20 td's. He is the best.

He's a great talent but everyone who keeps saying he's the best ever is over rating him.
