I am originally from NC, but I have been living in AL for about a year now. I prefer NC, and I really miss living in Wilmington, NC in particular. The people are really nice here though, and it's not the redneck pit that everyone thinks it is! We are moving to AZ in about a month or so though. I have never lived anywhere except in the South, and I am a little nervous and excited about it, although I will really miss the trees & grass! LOL!

I live in Ohio, the worst state when it comes to government.
Nobody is willing to start any kind of program because they are affraid theat the other political party might benefit from it.
The schools are in trouble and nobody wants to fix the problem. the funding always comes down to property tax levys. Most of the people around here are ignorant hillbillies who believe that readin' 'ritin' and 'rithmetic are enough. When I wuz a kid i didn't have no computer. Dang it. People's puttin' on airs.

In the summer I love it but in the winter I'd like to live somewhere else. Run from the snow, as it were. California, Florida or Texas would be fine with me.

I live in Oklahoma, and I'm from North Carolina. I prefer NC. It's alot prettier. Here it is hotter, colder in the winter, and we've had a 4 year drought and then tons of rain this year. There is no pretty fall color here at all and I miss it. But, my husband is from here and his aging parents are here, so that's why we moved so he could be near them. (My parents have passed away).

USA, wouldn't live anywhere else...except maybe Italy! State: beautiful sunny Florida. If I moved in US, it would be S. Carolina, most likely.
