I never used the tape and cheesecloth, but we made things with paper mache in Girls Scouts. Usually our Halloween masks were made from colored construction paper, we'd draw a face, color it, paste on details and cut the eyes, nose and mouth out.

Yes to the paper mache, and even plaster, but I've never seen masking tape used like that. I guess it would work, it's an interesting idea.

Never did a mask.....but I did do a paper mache violin once. Remember the salt maps? Or especially this time of the year.....leaf collections.
And you had to identify each one. That was one thing I remember doing with my Dad. He knew his plants and leaves.

Yes Paper Mache over a baloon blown up to size of my head, that holds the form, then we made eye openings, nose , mouth etc....lots of fun and not expensive. Kids have a ball.

When I was a cub scout leader we did a play from Saturday Night Live. We made a Land Shark mask that fit over the entire body. We used chicken wire and covered it with papermache. Then we painted it. It was very cool.

Hell, that'd be impressive having a mask surgically linked on your face, on condition that it replaced into made with the impressive issues. yet yeah, you may get some stares and giggles nonetheless. Hell, adequate human beings stare at old women human beings only because of fact they have particularly hair on their larger lip. so which you would be able to would desire to place up with lots of **** if it replaced into even attainable.
