Hello, Banshee. I'm not sure what inspired you to ask this question but I automatically thought about the White Elephant which in some cultures is almost legendary.

It is grey on top and pink in the inside ---so you can say an elephant is grey and pink ,both 50:50

A normal elephant is grey which is fine.The pink elephant means hallucinating on alcohol.Which is very bad.I should know.

It depends on the type (canny spell species) I have noticed in pictures of Indian elephants the can have pink skin tones here and there.
