Every time he's out with his wife she ignores him. They can be grocery shopping or taking a walk at the park and it's usually her suggestion, but she tries walking faster than him. One time they were in the store and she was walking ahead of him so he asked her to slow down and she turned around and screamed, "I DON'T KNOW YOU, THAT'S MY PURSE!" and he was arrested and was forced to spend the weekend in jail. He loves her intently, and she loves him too, but every time they are outside of their apartment she pretends she doesn't know him! EVERY TIME!
Of course he doesn't help with the situation because he likes to walk around pecking his head like a chicken (and even periodically crows like a rooster), but that's just one of his "tics" that he can't help. She knows that!
What can I suggest to him?

So the guy spends not a night in jail but a weekend in jail because his ***-clown wife says she doesn't know him?
And was she charged for mischief since she basically told a lie about her husband or is she on some cheap meds.
Simple advice to your friend - don't go out with your wife!
Unless your friend is a "retard" or he is medically unsound, he can certainly STOP his chicken head and rooster crowing. Afterall, it was you who said he "likes" to walk around doing it and not that he doesn it involuntarily.
Find new friends.

If you can explain a little more about why the wife is ignoring him outside carelessly getting him into jail, most likely the wife does not love him as much. Tell your friend to talk with your wife and if all else fails, you talk to the wife personally. Once you find the problem, try to sort this out, or give me an email ;)
