ive just repaired my fren's display setting..from what ive found that it settings both override...the question is could it be driver conflicts between them as both of them have their own driver

Sorry, please describe in proper English and with more details? "it settings both override" doesn't make any sense. ATI has been making Radeon variants for the past 5+ years with dozens and dozens of models, so "ati radeon" means as much as "Chevy", probably less since other video card makers makes ATI-based video cards too. As for LCD monitor, those don't need "drivers". They have "profiles" that basically describes which resolutions and refresh rates they can do, and the video card matches that with its own set of video modes to determine which ones are available. However, most LCDs now are plug-and-play, which means they don't even need driver disks.

Thus, please don't diagnose... just tell us the problem, and we'll try to solve it for you.
