in case you have a question that doesnt really fit into any of the other science and math categories.
For example, if I wanted to know the accelleration of a cougar in space, should I post it in Astronomy, Zoology, or Physics? I dont know, so I will post it in Alternative.
Many people use the category for pseudo-science questions. For example...How can I move objects with my mind?

This is the section where people ask about the paranormal.Ghosts,psychics,spells all that nonsense.We tell them, they're foolish and gullible.They tell us, we're mean and close-minded.

It's for miscellaneous alternative science concepts. Alternative science is sciencey sounding things that aren't really science but some people think they are.
