in case you have a question that doesnt really fit into any of the other science and math categories.
For example, if I wanted to know the accelleration of a cougar in space, should I post it in Astronomy, Zoology, or Physics? I dont know, so I will post it in Alternative.
Many people use the category for pseudo-science questions. For example...How can I move objects with my mind?

Anything that doesn't fit into one of these categories:
Agriculture
Astronomy & Space
Biology
Botany
Chemistry
Earth Sciences & Geology
Engineering
Geography
Mathematics
Medicine
Physics
Weather
Zoology
Any question that has to do with some dude and his perpetual motion machine ideas should probably go in this category.

It's for miscellaneous alternative science concepts. Alternative science is sciencey sounding things that aren't really science but some people think they are.
