Yes, I've met many firefighters and police officers from FDNY and NYPD that were first responders on 9/11 some survived and 2 that didn't. Very heroic although I had known many of them prior to it, I saw them all in a new light after it.

In the deep 8th grade English sense, probably but on a lighter note, I'd like to meet captain America, Drymon, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern or Super 6ties. (My amazing hero)

Yes - I met a wonderful foster mom just the other day that does amazing things with children that have been traumatized, and does it for very little pay.

yes. a guy that had the lower part of his leg blown off in Vietnam. I felt sorry for him at first, but the felt ashamed of it because he was trying to live a happy life and just wanted to be treated the same as everyone else.
