Before 9-11 we just thought this was a problem for other places and it wouldn't have made the news if it was stopped. Now that we have experienced terrorism it is a big deal.

Prior to the war, the terrorist attacks against Americans all over the globe are too numerous to list here. Neither we nor the war is "causing terrorism." If we leave a piece of fruit in the middle of the kitchen floor and tomorrow it's covered with cockroaches - believe me, we did not cause or create the cockroaches - they were there all along and we simply weren't looking for them.
Obviously, our policies of inaction and no effective response in the past did nothing to stem this ideology of hatred and blood lust or the terror attacks - but I never once saw a post that suggested these policies of allowing the terrorists to slaughter thousands of innocent people were causing terrorism. We cannot return to these policies with any dignity while innocent men, women and children fall victim to this vicious, religious fanaticism.
I'm damned proud that America and her true allies are finally confronting these murderers - they no longer can slaughter innocent people with impunity - there will be serious consequences, as there should be.

Well we saw what happens when we sit back and do nothing like Clinton did when he had a chance to get bin Laden... we get attacked on 9/11.
I'll go with war is keeping us safe and not cowering in fear while cut and running.
One thing is clear... more terrorist have been killed than US troops. Once the terrorist are so afraid to cut and run, we will win.
That's how you win a war. When the loser gives up.
Seems like a lot of you guys never went to grade school. All kids knows what it takes to win.
Home schooled?

you are able to not combat a conflict against terrorism. terrorism isn't a rustic. yet you are able to not create a talk with them the two, because of the fact those all of us is radicals. all i comprehend is that we could think of of a few thing devoid of postpone previously all is misplaced. and no mr. bush, the respond replaced into to not invade iraq(who replaced into not in touch in 9/11) and placed across terrorists to combat against us to that usa. i'm so bored with listening to approximately how lots of our infantrymen are killed there each and on a daily basis. the media desires to commence exhibiting photos & very own info on those infantrymen so as that they are not purely a # to the folk gazing. then people might actually comprehend what we are dropping right here. & somewhat push the government to locate the thank you to get us out of there. sorry, i did not advise to rant.

you are absolutely right on this.
the reason that we are at war is because those with the connections can make a killing off of the business of war.
it was not fashionable to prosecute terrorism as a criminal act, no money in that,so you start a war and look tough while you denigrate your predecessors and rake in the cash with both hands

Makes you wonder why the FBI didn't stop 9/11.Especially since they had the 20th hijacker Moussaoui in custody for weeks before 9/11.

Could please provide the number of terrorist plots planned before the war and the number of plots after the war started? These two numbers might be helpful to your arguement. If you do not have these then you have no arguement and are stritctly using liberal talking points.
