coming up to winter, been sneezing and coughing nasty stuff up all ready...do i need the flu jab as i had pneumonia earlier on this year?

My husband has had pneumonia several times and always has the jab.....you are probably in the "at risk " group like him

hi- as you were so ill i think the 'flu jab would be a good idea- i dont know how old you are but i do know that gp's can be very odd about what age group they give it to- the other thing about the flu jab is that it contains vaccine against a couple of strains of flu but it may not be effective if a different strain of flu hits the country .....

i do not think they will give you a shot of any kind if you are already sick.so take extra vitamin c and e and drink orange juice and eat chicken noodle soup.if you smoke anything at all -quit!! when you are past the cold you should get a flu vaccine and a pneumonia one too! good luck!

that is probably from the pneumonia ask your doctor to be on the safe side but i don't think you will need it its mostly for the elderly

i had pleurisy 4 weeks ago im not getting the flu vaccine i don't want it do you realize its the flu virus they give you in that injection
